I’ve had bbq all over the country cuz I’m a KC fan and I also lived in the South. The sauce and meat of this place is top shelf. Just as good as anything I’ve had anywhere. The guys are polite and orderly. The beans are pretty good, the potato salad i was not impressed by. But who cares, great great bbq

I'm visiting from California and have been to a couple of BBQ spots here in Iowa. Willy Ray's is by far the the best in Iowa!.

I’ve lived in Cedar Rapids for about 3 months.. 3 months was way too long to go with out Willie Ray's Q Shack. If y’all haven’t tried these ribs, you’re missing out. Go grab you a plate! Can’t wait to try everything else!

We drove 2 hours to visit family in CR yesterday. We waited for lunch just so we could have Willie’s. :) It was definitely worth it. The BBQ is always delicious. Staff is always friendly. The lunch portion of the rib tips was enough to eat multiple times. Yum!

Incredible food and service. We went here after washing our motorcycles and planned on eating in Noelridge park. The guy that served us our food was so concerned about the beans making a mess of everything that he even offered to drive our food to the park. The beans made it, and the food was amazing. 10/10 everything

Willy Ray was super nice! I ordered brisket but they were already out for the day and the chicken is dark meat which I'm not a fan of. I'm not a fan of pork so I did the ribs which were very good. The potato salad was good. I'm not a huge fan of beans but I tried them, they were good for beans. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich which he said was very good. Very well presented.

I MEAN COME ON !! Hands down the best home style bbq you could have. The prices are reasonable. The quality of the meat is top notch, have I mentioned how friendly the staff is. I will personally recommend people to Willie ray. If this helps I have a picky wife and she ate everything she got. 10/10 all love to the owner and staff.

We had Willie Ray’s Q Shack out at our car show and they were a huge hit! Everyone loved the food, and it brought such great energy to the event. We also really appreciate all the support they give to the community it’s awesome to see local businesses giving back. Highly recommend them for any event or if you’re just craving some amazing BBQ. Go get some awesome BBQ!
